For today’s post I wanted to share something a little different! A recent blog post I wrote for one of my clients: Plum Deluxe. Plum Deluxe is a tea company based in Oregon in the United States. I personally really enjoy their tea and love writing recipe and entertainments posts for them.
(If you want to see more of what I write about when I’m not writing about books, check out my writing samples).
Today’s post is Books and Brews, a list of literary characters who enjoy a cup of tea. Click the link below to head on over and read this post. I had a lot of fun writing this piece, I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Steph, what a fun blog post over at Plum Deluxe. As a Star Trek groupie, appreciated your inclusion of Capt. Picard, “Tea. Earl Grey, Hot.” I enjoy cup after cup of hot tea while reading, different kinds contingent upon time of day (black & green teas in morning) or night (rooibos, herbal teas.) My tea cabinet is filled with over 60 kinds of tea (will check out Plum Deluxe. Their teas sound lovely!)
I’m also a big LOTR groupie, so often like to add a little something (scones, muffins, treats) to go with reading (and the TEA!)
Cheers! – Virginia 🙂
Hi Virginia! I’m glad you enjoyed the post! I’ve gotten into Star Trek relatively recently, but loving it. The Mister and I are currently watching Deep Space Nine. Who is your favourite character from the Star Trek universe?
If you like Green Tea I can recommend Plum Deluxe’s ‘Abundance’ blend. Passionfruit notes make it very refreshing!
